The Monthly Social is open to all members and non-members alike
 The PPT Monthly Socials are held at the First United Methodist Church of Pittsburgh in Shadyside. We meet on the third Sunday of the month in Fellowship Hall, the church's social room.The church is located at: 5401 Centre Ave, Pittsburgh, Pa 15232 Layout: The church borders Centre Avenue, Liberty/Aiken Avenue, and Baum Blvd. There's a service entrance facing Liberty/Aiken with a small driveway that can be used for drop-off at the side door. Enter it from Aiken near Centre to drop-off items, if needed. Parking: There's some street parking on Aiken and Center Avenues. There's also a small parking lot on the Centre Avenue side at the southeast corner of the building. The parking lot entrance is just west of Panera Bread.  The dinners are pot-luck, so please bring a main course, side dish, dessert, or appetizer. Various soft drinks, coffee, and tea are provided by the club.If you prefer to buy a ready-made dish, that’s OK too. However, we’ve been inundated recently with desserts. If you’re apt to purchase a dish, we humbly suggest something from the deli such as:
Fried Chicken
Rotisserie Chicken
Hot Vegetable dishes
Cold veggies
Various salads
Roasted Potatoes
Potato Salad
Macaroni SaladNewcomers are welcome! If you’re interested in our organization, the Monthly Social is the ideal venue in which to get acquainted with the members. If you are a member, the Social is an excellent opportunity to bring along a guest and possibly sign up a new member. This month’s Social is scheduled for Sunday, September 19th at 4:00 PM.
